About The Vistahunt Society

The Vistahunt Society stands as a voluntary entity duly registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, bearing the registration number SR/ITA/2621. Its inception dates back to the 7th of January in 2005, when a coalition of akin social workers engaged in diverse spheres such as fundamental healthcare, education, environmental conservation, rural advancement, women’s empowerment, and the advocacy of human rights, came together. Commencing its journey with scarce resources and a limited workforce, the organization embarks on the noble objective of enhancing the capabilities of economically disadvantaged and socially marginalized segments within society. Its fundamental aim lies in fostering empowerment through the enrichment of individuals’ capacities.

Vistahunt Society works among rural women, children, handicapped people, and poor villagers and urban deprived population. Major areas of interest of the organization are Women Empowerment, Primary & Non-Formal Education, Basic Health, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Environmental Protection, Self Help Groups (SHGs), Employment Oriented Vocational Training, Youth Development, Promotion of Sports, Arts and Culture, Reproductive Child Health and Awareness on various Social, Health and Current issues. 

Vistahunt Society is a Non – Government Organization for the development of oppressed and vulnerable sections of the society in Arunachal Pradesh. The Organization has been initiated by a group of individuals committed for the development of rural and urban communities of Arunachal Pradesh under the leadership of Shri Jitendra Pait who has got a decade long experience in the field of development. The society has started its interventions in the areas of Education, Health, Women Empowerment, Urban Employment, Consumer Welfare programs, Women and Child Health Care, Computer Training, etc.
